Hey Tom! At Cuissential we’ve seen technology get to a point where new and innovative product ideas are feasible and economical. Modern technologies (computer-aided design, rapid prototyping, etc) have really allowed for product design to get fairly experimental without necessarily raising the cost of the product by much. New materials such as Silicone are very versatile, natural and only now beginning to be more common in the marketplace. The consumer these days is more aware of what they are purchasing and more demanding! We really try and keep an open channel of communication with our buyers. Our products are constantly changing and evolving based on customer feedback. We also mostly sell directly to the consumer and so we are able to keep the retail price lower than if we went to big retailers. One ideal we strive to uphold is that of Democratic Design. We live in a new, technologically empowered age and the consumer deserves well-designed, smart, innovative products and they shouldn’t have to pay a premium either. That’s our methodology in a nutshell, feel free to shoot any questions to team@Cuissential.com!
