This this is amazing. Why? A few reasons. When compared to other compact folding 1 cup coffee drip containers, the first is advantage is that this is all one piece. That doesn’t sound important until you lose one piece of a multi-piece set. Perfect example is another company that makes a collapsible drip but include a separate hard plastic piece that can get lost in a crowded picnic table.
And speaking of that hard plastic piece of the other company, this version doesn’t have any hard plastic components. NOTHING TO BREAK. it bends and twists to contour a tightly packed hiking backpack and fits just fine in almost any nook and cranny of any bag you might want to use.

I LOVE this coffee dripper! I travel often – mostly by bicycle and have been carrying a melitta hard plastic dripper. Yours is superior since it takes up barely any space in my pannier (it would even fit great in my purse for emergency coffee needs). Yours will be the one I use from now on.
One thing – not sure why you decided to make the dripper oval – but the melitta coffee filters cant expand fully when inside the dripper due to the shape.
Just got two of these and I’m sipping my first cup. They seem great. We travel a lot and I’m tired of trying to wedge two hard plastic filter holders in my suitcase.
I was given the SlickDrip as a Christmas present. I LOVE it. I live aboard a sailboat and have VERY limited storage space. The SlickDrip has taken the place of a once much loved French Press that just took up too much room (and was too fragile – always afraid of breaking it). I also got the SlickBoil Collapsible Silicone Kettle and between the two items I have all my hot beverage needs covered in a very small amount of storage space! The SlickDrip makes a lovely cup of coffee – the flow of water through the filter seems to be just right to develop a full flavor without the bitterness that comes from too slow of a flow rate.
